My painting process started out from photography. Based on the subjects I photographed, I created an image on canvas using acrylic colors - and the photograph went on to live its own life in the painting.

For me most important is the figurativism of the painting. Romance and naturalism are my orientation. I pay attention to light and shadows, perspective, layeredness and colors, and the subject itself. I love the small, perhaps hidden details and I want to find the beauty in them.

Also, the historical artistic trend of the Renaissance is the subject of my interest. Study trips in Europe have paved the way for my art.
